Karen Levett is a Clinical Pharmacist with more than 35 years of experience across aged care, oncology, clinical trials and complex hospital pharmacy services. Her connection to aged care began early in her career, when she was involved in establishing and servicing the pharmacy for Cabrini Ashwood Aged Care in 2001, work that strengthened her commitment to safe, person‑centred medication management for older people.

Karen’s current role is with Slade Pharmacy, where she specialises in oncology and clinical trials, supporting patients receiving advanced cancer therapies. Her career has also included 14 years in the United Kingdom where she worked in a variety of roles including Boots the Chemist (UK's biggest pharmacy chain), radiopharmacy (radioactive pharmaceuticals) and London NHS hospitals (Clinical pharmacy, including as an essential worker during COVID). During this time she held senior positions including Aseptic Services Manager and Specialist Oncology Pharmacist, gaining extensive experience in high‑risk medicines, sterile manufacturing and multidisciplinary clinical care.

A lifelong member of the Christadelphian community, Karen brings a strong sense of service, integrity and compassion to her role on the Board. Her broad clinical background and deep understanding of medication safety provide valuable insight into the care needs of older people and the governance of aged‑care services.
