John Finnin

John has been a member of the Olivet Care board since 2006, serving as Treasurer for many years prior to taking over as Board Chair in 2019. He is also the Chair of our COVID-19 Crisis Management Team and a member of the Remuneration and Risk Management Committees.
John’s professional career has spanned 22 years in the banking industry, followed by 20 years in a number of senior roles at accounting software and services provider MYOB.
John brings a number of key skills to his board role including financial planning, technology delivery, people and culture leadership and business continuity planning.

Mark Guscott

Mark joined the board in 2020 and is the Chairman of both our Finance and Risk Management Committees and a member of the Remuneration Committee. Mark brings to his various board roles significant executive management experience gained both locally and internationally.
As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and having served on a number of boards, he knows what it takes to oversee a company’s activities. Commercially astute, his strengths include governance, strategy and risk management.
Mark is thrilled to work alongside the board members and leaders of Olivet Care in seeing it continue successfully as being a wonderful environment for resident care.

David Wallace

David is one of our longest-serving board members joining in 2003. During his board tenure David has been Chair of a number of our key sub-committees including Building, Strategic Planning and Finance. Having handed over Treasurer responsibilities in 2020, he continues to be an integral member of our Finance Committee.
David’s professional career includes over 30 years working in various technical specialist roles in the telecommunications industry at Telstra. David’s technical expertise is well utilised in driving Olivet Care’s technology roadmap.
David’s connection and commitment to Olivet Care’s success dates back to his school days as a volunteer in the laundry during holiday breaks.

Robin Crispin

Rob Crispin was elected to the Olivet Board in late 2022 and is currently Deputy Chair and convenor of the Risk Management sub committee.
Rob has previous experience on the Board and has been active in the Christadelphian Church for over 40 years in leadership and welfare roles including as a Marriage Celebrant.
With tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Mediation, undergraduate Social Sciences, and postgraduate Management education, Rob has forged a working life in serving individuals and communities. Such work has had responsibility for childrens, youth, families, disability and older persons services. Some of his work activities over recent decades have included management of Residential Aged Care Homes and Community Residential Units; establishing and operating a Home Care Package Service; and developing Community Health and Safety initiatives. He also has contributed to Government Policy development at Commonwealth, State and Local Government levels.

Stephen Mansfield

Steve has been a board member since 2005 and is the Building Committee Chair, a position he has held since 2012.
Steve is a qualified real estate valuer and agent, having worked in varying senior management and director roles for major international agencies and development companies. He is presently General Manager of a property development company specialising in residential, retail and hotel projects.
Steve plays an integral role in overseeing the strategic development roadmap for our facilities and execution of our major building projects.

Helen Rawson

Helen joined the board in 2019 and is Co-Chair of our Clinical Governance Committee as well as a member of our Remuneration Committee and our COVID-19 Crisis Management Team.
Helen is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience working with older people in acute and residential care settings and has had over 17 years in academia involved in teaching and research. Helen’s extensive clinical expertise is a vital ingredient in ensuring that the care and well-being of our resident and clients is front and centre in all our governance considerations.
Helen’s current role is Associate Professor Nursing and Midwifery at Monash University. Her research agenda is to enhance wellbeing and promote safe and evidence-based care for older people in acute and residential care settings. Helen is also a member of an independent school board.

Andrew King

Andrew joined the board in 2014, is currently our Deputy Chairman and a member of our Finance Committee,
He has been an active member of the Christadelphian Faith for over 40 years and through family connections, has been associated with Olivet Care most of his life.
Andrew has spent his entire working life in a successful family business in retail clothing and has been Managing Director for the past 25 years. Married with four adult children, Andrew has a strong care ethic which is emphasised by his company’s focus on customer service.
Currently Andrew is on the Canterbury Christadelphian Church Committee as Welfare Brother, Chairman of the Christadelphian Asia-Pacific Meal a Day Foundation (overseas charity) and President of the Croydon Main Street Traders Association.

Jill Mansfield

Jill is our longest serving board member having been appointed in 1998 and has been an active and respected member of our Finance Committee throughout her board tenure.
Jill has had a 33-year career working in the aged care industry and is currently undertaking various administrative functions for Benetas, one of Australia’s largest aged care service providers.
Jill’s industry experience is a valuable asset, and her insights are highly valued by both the board grouip and our management team.
