Life changes constantly, and as we age some tasks can become a little bit harder to do alone. Changes in your health can have a significant impact on your quality of life. Your Care Manager will work with you to develop a care plan and budget that will assist you to maintain your health and wellbeing.
Olivet Home Care can support you to manage your Home Care Package. Making the most of the funding available to you enables you to keep doing the activities you enjoy and to stay connected to your community. We’ll work with you to make sure that you have what you need to keep living well at home.
Building on Olivets’ extensive experience caring for older people, we offer a range of allied health and home care services to suit your individual circumstances. Our services are available to all those in the local communities across Maroondah and Knox including Ringwood, Croydon, Ferntree Gully, Boronia and surrounding suburbs.

Full case management
At Olivet Home Care we provide full case management. You will have a dedicated person as your main point of contact who will oversee the delivery of your support services on a day-to-day basis
The Care Managers’ role is to ensure that you are getting the right care and services to suit your situation, and support you to live the life you want.
We welcome and encourage discussion and questions about what is available through the Home Care Package and your Care Manager is available to assist you.
There are no extra fees for this service as it is included in our low 25% flat fee.
Registering for a Home Care Package
Visit the My Aged Care website or contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to check your eligibility and apply for an Aged Care Assessment
Following your assessment you will be notified via mail when your Home Care Package is within three months of being allocated. Within the next three months you will receive another letter advising you have been allocated a Home Care Package.
Once you have been allocated a Homecare Package you will have 56 days to choose your Home Care provider. This is now the time to contact Olivet Home Care reception staff on (03) 9131 5500 to arrange for one of our Care Managers to meet with you.

Our home care workers can help around the house including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
Our home care workers are trained to help you with daily hygiene tasks such as help with showering and dressing
We can give you a hand around the garden to help you keep it looking beautiful, healthy and tidy
Allied Heath Services
Physiotherapy, massage, podiatry, nursing, and allied health services are available in our home care packages
Our home care services are perfect for adding a little fun to life. We provide social connections & activities to keep you entertained
Our home care services can assist with transport to and from shopping trips, regular appointments and social activities
Help you stay safe
We can arrange for you to be assessed by an Occupational Therapist to ensure you have the appropriate aides and equipment to keep you safe
Olivet provides in-home respite to give carers and love ones a break. This allows carers to continue doing the things they enjoy
Package Management Fees
Package Management is the ongoing organisational activities associated with ensuring the smooth delivery and management of a home care package.
It may include the costs for preparing monthly statements; managing package funds; and compliance and quality assurance activities required for home care.

Care Management Fees
Care Management includes conducting assessments, annual reviews, care planning, budget development, liaising with allied health providers, other service providers, liaising with the client and family, coordination, and scheduling of services, ensuring all expenditure is in line with guidelines, providing a point of contact, identifying, and addressing risks to the clients’ safety.
Care Management also includes ensuring there is no overlap, over-servicing, or mismanagement of services.
